Every loud range needs its shadow. The Ultra Noir is AIXO in stealth mode – blacked-out, matte and murderously tidy. Its personality is the quiet one in the corner who turns out to be the best player in the room.
Who it's for
The specification is the Ghost series' proven formula: a T700 carbon face over a 16mm core, cold-pressed for a soft and forgiving response, at around £40. The 16mm core delivers the big sweet spot and calm touch that make it a superb first paddle, while the carbon face keeps the rebound honest and the spin available as players progress. It suits beginners who want understated kit, club loan sets that need a grown-up option among the brights, and improvers who like their paddle monochrome and their winners emphatic. For club orders, the Ultra Noir is the diplomatic default – nobody has ever objected to black.
